Is FDI in retail is objectionable

Congerss government has at last gone for FDI in retail. It has been objected by most opposition parties and some congressmen as well as congerss allies.
The question is whether the objection is worth the effort.
Granted that congress has made a mess and shown serious disrespect to parliament by issuing an executive order without taking parliament into confidence.
Some arguments put in favour of FDI are not convincing. Like it will create jobs.
Nobody explains why country is unable to create infrastructure that govt claims bringing FDI will create. Are Indians incapable of building godowns for grains. Why tolerate wastage year after year.
Why the companies like reliance, future group and local organized sectors not encouaged to create infrastructure. if challenged Indians can rise to the challenge if allowed to do so.
If Curian could transform milk picture of India can others not do similar feats.
Nobody is talking about why western countries have to support their farmers with huge subsidies.
Why government does not  talk about adequate regulatory mechanism?
Is companies like walmart paragon of virtue? What when they start exploiting the small companies and farmers?
Do MNC and large corporations not exploit small companies and suppliers?
However, as the country grows economically large organized retail will become necessary.  It is the call of the time. sincere efforts should first be directed to do so without FDI with patience and support. If it can cope up due to paucity of management skills or technology gaps then FDI should be considered.
